Terms of Service

ABOFA 2026 (Aqaba Blue: Ocean Future in Action) is the region's premier international B2B platform dedicated to diving, marine technology, water sports, and the blue economy. The event is hosted at the Aqaba International Exhibition Center in Aqaba, Jordan, from 9 to 12 September 2026.

The event is organized by 1st Arabia in partnership with Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) as host partner, and Fira Barcelona as international partner. These Terms govern your relationship with the organizing entities and your use of all associated digital and physical services.

By accessing our website, downloading the ABOFA mobile application, registering as an attendee or exhibitor, or physically attending the event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms apply to all users including:

• Registered attendees and delegates
• Exhibitors and sponsors
• Speakers and panelists
• Media and press representatives
• Visitors and day-pass holders
• Event staff and volunteers

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Registration for ABOFA 2026 is open to individuals and organizations involved in or interested in the diving, marine technology, water sports, and blue economy sectors.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register independently
• All registration information provided must be accurate, complete, and current
• One registration is valid for one individual — registrations are non-transferable without prior written approval
• ABOFA reserves the right to refuse or revoke registration at its sole discretion
• Organizational registrations must be authorized by an appropriate representative

Upon successful registration, you will receive confirmation via email and access credentials for the ABOFA event platform and mobile application.

The ABOFA mobile application and online event platform are provided to registered users as part of their event access. The following terms apply to digital services:

• Your account credentials are personal and must not be shared with others
• You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account
• The app is available on Android and iOS and requires an active internet connection for full functionality
• Features including session booking, networking, and live updates require a valid, active registration
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate app access for violation of these Terms
• The platform is provided "as is" — we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

All attendees, exhibitors, and users are expected to maintain professional and respectful conduct throughout the event and on all ABOFA digital platforms. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward any individual
• Unauthorized solicitation or canvassing outside of designated exhibition areas
• Distribution of unauthorized promotional materials
• Recording of sessions without explicit written permission from the organizers
• Misrepresentation of identity, affiliation, or credentials
• Any activity that disrupts the event, its sessions, or other attendees
• Uploading malicious content or attempting to compromise digital systems

All content associated with ABOFA 2026 — including but not limited to the event name, logo, branding, website content, app design, presentation materials, and marketing assets — is the intellectual property of 1st Arabia and its partners.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use ABOFA branding without prior written consent
• Speaker and exhibitor content remains the property of the respective presenter or company
• Session recordings, where provided, are for personal use only and may not be redistributed
• Content shared on the event platform by users remains the user's property, but a license is granted to ABOFA for platform display purposes

By attending ABOFA 2026, you acknowledge and consent to the following:

• Official photographers and videographers will be present throughout the event
• Your image, likeness, and voice may be captured and used in ABOFA promotional materials, social media, press releases, and future marketing without additional compensation
• If you do not consent to being photographed or filmed, you must notify the registration desk upon arrival
• Media representatives must be accredited and wear press badges at all times
• Drone and aerial photography within the venue requires prior written approval from the organizers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ABOFA, 1st Arabia, ADC, and Fira Barcelona shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from event attendance or use of services
• Loss of personal property, theft, or damage to belongings during the event
• Personal injury not caused by direct negligence of the organizing entities
• Event disruption due to circumstances beyond our control including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or public health emergencies
• Inaccuracies in the event schedule, speaker lineup, or session content

Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements, visa applications, accommodation, and personal insurance. ABOFA does not guarantee visa approval or assume liability for travel-related issues.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZA), Jordan.

For international attendees, participation in ABOFA 2026 constitutes acceptance of Jordanian jurisdiction for event-related matters.
